We are part of one of many great church planting movements emerging in the world today. Destiny Ministries, an international, apostolic network of churches, continues to grow and reach out to new cities and countries. In 2007 alone three churches were planted in Aberdeen, Newcastle, and Kenya. Founded and led by Andrew Owen, a recognized apostle, this is a movement of men and women committed to pursuing God and helping others find him.

With a focus on church planting, our vision is to have a Destiny church in every country in the world. In the Bible God says "ask of me and I shall give you the nations" So we believe Him. Our aim in this is simply to see God made famous in this world, that no one would miss out on the abundant life he provides and the amazing salvation we have as a result of Christ's death.

Not only do we have an international vision for the future but this heart for other cultures manifests itself in our own church here in Edinburgh. We have a church of people from over 30 different countries. Over the years people have come from Thailand, Peru, Columbia, Brazil, South Africa, Nigeria, Malawi, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Namibia, Botswana, Kenya, Eritrea, Tonga, India, New Zealand, Australia, The Philippines, Taiwan, China, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia, Belarus, Italy, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Russia, Canada, America, and of course the U.K.

DESTINY CHURCH GLASGOW

Destiny Church Glasgow   is the hub of our network, being the first Destiny Church. It is here that Andrew Owen and his team are based, and the venue for both local church family events and the international conferences that we host each year. We equip Christians with leadership skills for lives in the ministry and the workplace through Destiny College . Based in Glasgow, the college has had a remarkable range of speakers and its alumni are flourishing . The Glasgow church is also home to Destiny Music, which has just signed a 3 album deal with Authentic Media.

INTERNATIONAL AID WORK
We have donated tens of thousands of pounds to JAM in Africa, Tapestries of Life Orphanage in Mexico and Spirit of Liberty Children's Orphanage in India, which is spearheaded by Ivan Squillino from Glasgow. As a church we support these initiatives and believe in the churches responsibility to help this world.
