Over 30 000 Polish people live and work in Edinburgh and we realise we have a fantastic opportunity to share our culture and faith with this sector of the community. Our aim is to meet the practical needs of Poles in the city and, as a starter, we're hosting English lessons (this year we have over 80 students spread over 3 classes with more students on a waiting list) and Polish Cinema nights (with an average audience of 30 people). Both these events are free and proving highly popular. We now have Polish translation at our 12pm services and offer a wider variety of activities that may interest Poles and help them integrate with the local English speaking community.
