God healed our son

Matthew Macintyre's story

Our son Matthew had been having problems with projectile vomiting on and off since he was born. When he was about 8 months, the sickness became more regular and he was having trouble keeping food down. After a number of visits to the doctor, he was diagnosed with having a problem with his reflux and prescribed medicine. However, the medicine had no effect and following a particularly bad period over the Christmas holidays we took Matthew back to the doctor. Matthew was sent up to the Sick Kids Hospital in Edinburgh where the doctor gave us some new medicine to try. Unfortunately, the vomiting continued and it looked like the medicine wasn't working.

We decided that we really wanted someone to pray for healing for Matthew but on the Sunday morning that we had planned to ask Pete to pray for him, Matthew vomited 4 times and we felt it unwise to take him to church - for obvious practical reasons! However, my husband went to church that morning and spoke to Pete, who there and then prayed for healing for Matthew.  That was about at about 11.30. At home, I gave Matthew his lunch at 12.00 and for the first time in days, the food stayed down. In fact, he has not experienced any vomiting since receiving prayer. What an amazing God!
